Readers' Choice Winner: The Starving Artist Cafe Wins for Best Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and according to our readers, is the best place to eat that meal.

Located in the heart of downtown Easley, The Starving Artist Cafe offers homemade pasteries and omelettes created with local ingredients, fresh fruits and vegetables.

Reader Michael Libbrecht wrote in our comments section, "Nothing tops The Starving Artist Cafe, it's the most charming breakfast nook around. I go for a coffee and pastry almost every day! Sunday brunch here is also a must."

But Libbrecht isn't the only fan of the small eatery.

"Starving Artist — food is great — I just LOVE being there," said Betsy Barker. "Atmosphere is awesome and the wait staff terrific! Best of all — no one is trying to hurry you out so they can sell the table again. Even if you only have coffee!"
