Ronnie Gilstrap

Ronald "Ronnie" Jay Gilstrap, 69, of 103 Oaklane Drive, and husband of Judy Hammett Gilstrap, passed away Thursday May 17, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Gilstrap was born in Easley, a son of Janie McGaha Gilstrap and the late Wayne H. Gilstrap. He was a 1960 graduate of . He retired from after 25 years of service and later retired from Gilstrap's Grocery. He was a member of Park Street Baptist Church.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother are a son, Kevin Gilstrap and his wife, Kim, of Easley; two brothers, Jerry Gilstrap and Danny Gilstrap, both of Easley; grandchildren, Kristi Clements and her husband, Brandon, Alex Gilstrap and his fiance, Amanda Norton and Andrew Gilstrap.

Funeral services will be 4 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of . Burial will follow in

Visitation will be from 2 p.m. until 3:45 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service, at the funeral home.

The family is at the home.
