Through a series of legal maneuvers, the incumbent Republican, BR Skelton whoÂ
has been in the House for 10 years, was able to secure a spot on the ballot evenÂ
after losing the primary, and gain removal of Harris from the ballot, evenÂ
though Harris decisively won the Republican Primary in June.
BR Skelton, using unfounded allegations and phony evidence has vilified HarrisÂ
and, even after multiple lawsuits brought by the incumbent have been heard inÂ
court and dismissed, continues to call Harris unethical, according to a release. Â
Ed Harris of Clemson, a highly successful businessman, has been married to hisÂ
wife Ann for 46 years, has two children and two grandchildren. He is a veteranÂ
officer in the U.S. Army Airborne, and is a long time member of ClemsonÂ
Presbyterian Church. Â

want to discuss his record, so, like Obama; he resorted to characterÂ
assassination of his opponent. Today, the South Carolina Republican PartyÂ
dispelled any doubt as to Mr. Harris’s character and integrity, and placed theirÂ
full support behind Ed Harris, the release stated. Â Â
