Six Mile Farmer's Market Kicks Off May 2

Market will be held from 4-7pm on Thursdays in old fire station.

Six Mile will celebrate the Grand Opening of the Six Mile Farmer's Depot Farmer's Market and Community Center May 2.

The Farmer's Market will be held in the town's former fire station.

The market will hold it's Grand Opening at 3:45pm Thursday, May 2.

Thereafter, the market will be held from 4pm- 7pm on Thursdays. 

The fire station location will allow the farmers market to be held rain or shine.

Local produce will be highlighted at the market.

Vendor fees will be $25 for the 2013 season.

If you just want to bring your surplus produce, you'll pay $5.

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and musicial instruments if they'd like.

Town officials hope the farmers market will serve as a town square and hope to announce more details and a kickoff date soon.
