Six Mile's Farmers Market Will Be Held on Thursdays

Plans coming together for town's Farmers Market.

Six Mile officials are moving quickly on a plan to establish a farmers market in the town's old fire station.

Councilman James Atkinson brought the idea up at last month's council meeting.

Though no kickoff date has been set yet, the market will be held from 4pm- 7pm on Thursdays.

If you just want to bring your surplus produce, you'll pay $5.

Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs and musicial instruments if they'd like.

Town officials hope the farmers market will serve as a town square and hope to announce more details and a kickoff date soon.
