University offers a chance to golf with Heather Bowie during Sept. 29 benefit for SWU's new golf facility.

Southern Wesleyan University will showcase its new golf practice driving range Sept. 29, while offering an opportunity to golf with LPGA Player Heather Bowie Young during SWUper Saturday, an event to benefit development of its new golf facility, which is currently under construction.
Young competed at Arizona State and the University of Texas where she won two NCAA team championships and an individual national championship. She will conduct a clinic at the new range, followed by “Lunch at the Turn” with University President Todd Voss and then a trip to The Reserve at Lake Keowee to play golf on one of the Upstate’s premier courses.
SWUper Saturday is open to the first 20 people who sign up. The cost of the event is $145 per person. To register or get more details, contact Doug Wilkinson, SWU golf coach, at (864) 644-5312 or e-mail dwilkinson@swu.edu.
