Spearman Elementary Incorporate Pies Into Lessons

Mrs. Gray’s first grade class at Spearman Elementary School in Piedmont created a  P.I.E. Anchor Chart for a lesson on Author's Purpose, (Persuade, Inform, Entertain), to help commit this new information to memory.   

 Students also enjoyed sampling some favorite pies at the end of the week and  graphed their favorite types of pies to incorporate math skills.
