Sustainable Small Farms Classes Begin April 18

Are you interested in learning the basics of how to have a small farm in your own back yard? If so, come join us for a 6-week course to learn the basics on how to care for livestock and honey bees and how to grow your own fruits and vegetables. We will even provide information on how to sell the excess crops you produce!

Clemson Extension’s Livestock & Forages team and the Home & Garden Information Center will offer classes beginning April 18th. Classes will meet weekly through May 23rd on Thursday from 6 pm to 8:30 pm.

Classes will meet at Clemson University in room E-142 of the P&A building.

County/Area Extension Agents and State Extension Specialist will deliver information on beekeeping basics, livestock (cattle, goats and chickens), forages, fruit and vegetable gardening, and marketing. Class space is limited, so sign-up now!
