SWU Speaker: Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone

Author, speaker and blogger Jeff Goins challenged Southern Wesleyan University students to consider going to places that are out of their comfort zone to experience personal growth.

Goins, who spoke Nov. 5 at the university’s missions conference, has traveled extensively, spending a year touring all over North America and Taiwan with a band.

He now lives in Nashville with his family and works for Adventures in Missions, an international nonprofit organization. He is author of the book Wrecked: When a Broken World Slams into your Comfortable Life, which tells the stories of people whose lives have been turned upside-down in the best way possible — and what they decided to do afterwards.
