Tri-County Tech to Offer IRS Small Business Tax Workshop
Workshop will be held 9am - 4pm Thursday, September 20 at the Easley Campus
An IRS Small Business Tax Workshop will be offered at the Tri-County Technical College Easley Campus’s QuickJobs Center Thursday, September 20, from 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
According to IRS representative Nivia Hayes, this workshop is designed for the small business owner, manager or the self-employed. Topics will include business use of home, independent contractors vs. employees, employment taxes, tax forms and electronic filing methods.
In addition, information on record keeping, types of business entities, Schedule C & SE and employment taxes will be covered.

The employment tax segment provides an overview of Forms 941 and 940, including e-File, and EFTPS due dates. Both Federal and State Tax/Employment issues will be covered. The cost of the workshop is $25. For more information or to register, call (864) 646-1700 or visit www.tctc.edu/learn.
