Verizon Wireless Supports MARYS House
Verizon Wireless become gold level sponsor of MARYS House.

MARYS House, a nonprofit organization whose purpose is to provide emergency shelter, services, and spiritual guidance to women and children fleeing domestic violence, recently received a $2,500 donation from Verizon Wireless.
MARYS House was selected to receive this generous donation from Verizon Wireless, a long-time supporter of domestic violence prevention and awareness programs.
This partnership will help MARYS House provide services and shelter to victims in upstate SC. The check was presented on the field at the men’s soccer game at Clemson University on October 19, 2012.

MARYS House sheltered over 300 women and children since October 2008 and has provided services to more than 80 area families moving toward safe and independent lifestyles.
Verizon Wireless’ donation speaks to the company’s commitment to help organizations provide services victims of domestic violence desperately need. We hope to see more businesses support our work because domestic violence destroys lives and families. Everyone deserves a safe and healthy haven to call home.
