Waffle House CEO, Motivational Speaker to Address Clemson Students

Clemson's Office of Student Enrichment hosts Horizons Professional Development series

Waffle House CEO Walt Ehmer and motivational speaker and business consultant Dan Waldschmidt will speak at Clemson University as part of the College of Business and Behavioral Science’s Horizons Professional Development series hosted by the Office of Student Enrichment.

“Our Horizons speaker series provides students the opportunity to network and gain career insight from industry leaders,” said Renee Hebert, director of the Office of Student Enrichment. “Waldschmidt and Ehmer are both leaders in their respective industries and will be offering unique insights into business and leadership.”

Waldschmidt will be presenting on “Four Unconventional Secrets of Success — Lessons Learned from 1000 Superstars in Business” at 6:30 p.m. April 2 in the Self Auditorium of the Strom Thurmond Institute.

Ehmer will share insights into his leadership journey, titled “Becoming a Leader — The Waffle House Way,” at 5:30 p.m. April 4 in the Brackett 100 Auditorium located in Brackett Hall.

Both presentations are open to all students and the public.

The Office of Student Enrichment (OSE) within the College of Business and Behavioral Science (CBBS) exists to cultivate and engage students in the college to become effective leaders, successful graduates and globally competitive professionals.
