Weather Halts Baseball, Again, Softball Finishes First Game

baseball tried once gain to finish its opening game in the 4A district playoffs Friday night, but for the second day in a row the weather didn't cooperate.

The baseball game at Byrnes was postponed due to heavy rain and a flooded field, before the teams ever took the field.

The will try again at 4 p.m. Saturday to pick up the game with the Rebels leading, 2-1, with two outs in the bottom of the first inning.

Easley’s softball team was able resume its game Friday at Boiling Springs. The Lady Green Wave were defeated 17-0. They will try to stay alive at Rock Hill on Saturday.
