Withrow To Speak On Revolutionary War at OPD Genealogical Society Meeting

Meeting will be held 7pm Tuesday, October 16 at Central-Clemson Library.

Scott Withrow will speak about "The Revolutionary War in the Upcountry of South Carolina" when the Old Pendleton District Genealogical Society meets on Tuesday, October 16 at 7 p.m. at the Central-Clemson Library on Highway 93.

Withrow teaches continuing education classes at Furman University and Anderson University, is an adjunct instructor at North Greenville University and works part-time as a park ranger at Cowpens National Battlefield.

His historical interests include the American Revolution, the Cherokee, the Melungeons, the Scotch-Irish, the Appalachians, and historic trails.

Currently, he is researching the Great Wagon Road for a continuing education program at Anderson University.
