Wren High Senior Killed Saturday

Lacee Michaela Dial, 17, victim of fatal collision Saturday morning

Grief counselors will be present at Wren High School this morning, following the death of a Wren senior over the weekend.

Lacee Michaela Dial, 17, of Piedmont was killed Saturday morning in a single-car collision, according to Lance Cpl. Brent Kelly with the South Carolina Highway Patrol.

Dial was traveling south on Elrod Road in Anderson at 11am when she lost control of the 1999 SUV and went off the right side of the road, striking a pole, Kelly said.

It is not known what caused Dial to lose control.

Robinson Funeral Home Powdersville Road is handling arrangements for Dial, but services have not been announced yet.
