Wren Student Earns USC Scholarship

Paige Meinke, a senior at Wren High School, has been awarded a four-year Navy ROTC Scholarship to attend the University of South Carolina. The scholarship will cover tuition, textbook expenses, and lab fees; and it will include a stipend for personal expenses.

While in college, Paige will complete Naval Science courses, management labs, and summer training sessions. Upon graduation, she will be commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy.

At Wren High School, Paige is a member of the National Honor Society and the varsity soccer team. She was a representative to Palmetto Girls State and Junior Leadership of Anderson County. She is currently the Company Commander of the Navy JROTC Unit. Paige is the daughter of Ms. Maria Meinke of Easley, SC.
