Alleged Meth Lab Busted in Goose Creek

A Goose Creek man is facing charges of manufacturing methamphetamine after Berkeley County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant of his home Thursday.

Scott Michael Grimm, 34, was charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine within a ½ mile of a school/playground, exposing a child to methamphetamine and simple possession of marijuana. He is at Hill Finklea Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing. 

Deputies took Grimm into custody after finding the methamphetamine lab, approximately 2.2 grams of methamphetamine, approximately .5 grams of marijuana and weapons in the residence at that location.
