Press Release, Berkeley County School District

The competition at Berkeley High School on Thursday,  Jan. 17, marked the fourth time Hayley Durant had earned her way to the district bee, and the fourth time was obviously the charm. The Westview Middle eighth grader — along with the other top twelve Berkeley County School District (BCSD)  Spelling Bee winners — will represent the district at the March 5 regional spelling bee at Lightsey Chapel at Charleston Southern University.

The winner of the regional spelling bee will attend the Scripps National Bee in Washington, DC and receive an allexpense-paid trip.
