No charges have been filed against the pedestrian, either, but SCHP released a statement pinning the wreck on the pedestrian who the agency said illegally crossed the road.

According to the report, the driver was slowing as he approached the traffic light in front of Goose Creek High School. The pedestrian allegedly ran between cars stopped at the light and ran in front of the driver's vehicle.Β
This collision is still under investigation by SCHP.Β
