Citizens Aid in Arrest of Alleged Reckless Driver
Donny Seegers was charged with two hit and run charges and reckless driving.

The Hayden Hill and Boulder Bluff communities rallied Monday night to help Goose Creek Police nab a man suspected of crashing into two vehicles and a mailbox.
Goose Creek Police have charged Donny Seegers with hit and run with minor injury, hit and run of attended vehicle, and reckless driving with the 10 p.m. Monday incident off of Parkwood Drive in Hayden Hill.Β
The wreck, which sent one car into a home's yard,Β was caused by a Heil Heating and Air van, according to ABC News 4. According to police,Β occupants of the vehicleΒ were fleeing on foot and being actively pursued by neighborhood residents.Β One suspect fled on foot.Β

The suspect that fled on foot was Gregory Seegers, who was arrested first by police after he was seen walking down Montague Plantation Road. Seegers was charged with public drunkeness and identified his brother, Donny, as the driver in the wreck.
It wasn't until several hours later that a concerned citizen alerted authorities to two suspicious men entering a shed at suspect Donny Seeger's house in neighboring Boulder Bluff.Β

Both Donny and Gregory Seegers suffered minor injuries from the wreck.Β
