Crowfield Driveway 'Defaced' with Swastikas
Goose Creek couple call the incident 'intimidating' and 'an insult.'

Two Swastikas and the words KKK were drawn in chalk on the driveway of a Crowfield home this week.
The drawings were discovered Monday morning by residents David and Sheila Smith,Β Live 5 News reported.
A swastika was used by the German Nazis during the time of the Holocaust, and it has since become a symbol of "white power." While the flag and Nazi symbol had right-facing arms, the incident in question had left-facing arms to the symbol.

"IΒ was startled because this is the first time I've ever seen anything like this on my property or anywhere else," she said. "Seeing the swastika that's one thing andΒ I might think it would be kids but when you put the 'KKK'Β with the swastika it's a little more intimidating to me."
Davis Smith added:Β
"It makes me angry that someone would be so insensitive," he said. "You cross the line when you deface somebody else's property. It's an insult."
No other Crowfield residents reported having unwanted drawings on driveways. The matter is being handled by Goose Creek Police.
