Deputy Involved in Highway 78 Wreck

A Charleston County deputy working an vehicle v. pedestrian collision on Highway 78 was involved in a two-vehicle wreck Thursday night.

No injuries were reported in the wreck that occured at 9919 Highway 78 in Ladson, which is under investigation by S.C. Highway Patrol.

According to Charleston County Sheriff's Office, seputies were working an auto pedestrian wreck in the area at the time of the deputy involved accident. The victim of the auto pedestrian accident was transported via EMS with non-life threatening injuries. The unknown vehicle involved in the auto pedestrain accident left the scene and no information is known about the vehicle or the driver involved. This accident remains under investigation by the Charleston County Sheriff's Office.
