Gator Kalan Ritchie Expresses Interest in Gamecocks

Goose Creek Gator tight end Kalan Ritchie is warming to the idea of signing with the University of South Carolina. 

Ritchie told the Post and Courier that the Gamecocks are a top contender last week.

The publication quoted Ritchie:

“All the coaches got to meet my family, and my mother really likes the school,” said Ritchie, a 6-5, 215-pound junior. “That’s a big factor. They went more in depth about education and the resources I would have if I went there.”

Ritchie has offers from University of South Carolina, Clemson, and Virginia Tech, according to 247Sports.com. USC offered when Ritchie was a sophomore in early 2012.
