Gator No. 85 is heading to Columbia to become South Carolina Gamecock, Live 5 News reported.
Goose Creek tight end Kalan Ritchie reportedly made his announcement via Twitter last week, saying:
"I have committed to the University of South Carolina #Gamecocks."

Prior to the announcement, Ritchie had said he was leaning toward USC. Ritchie has offers from University of South Carolina, Clemson, and Virginia Tech, according to 247Sports.com. USC offered when Ritchie was a sophomore in early 2012.
Ritchie will play his senior year this fall for the Gators.
