Goose Creek Alien Indicted for Unlawful Reentry After Removal
U.S. Attorney office says Edwin Hernandez-Hernandez of Goose Creek is an illegal alien.

A federal grand jury has indicted a Honduran man living in Goose Creek with unlawful reentry after removal, according to a press release from the U.S. Attorney's Office.
Edwin Hernandez-Hernandez, 25, also has these aliases:Â Eduin Alonso Cruz Castro, Eduin Cruz Castro, Edwin Alonso Cruz and Edwin Castro Castro.
Hernandez-Hernandez was charged in a one-count indictment with Reentry of an Illegal Alien after Removal, in violation of Title 8, United States Code, Section 1326(a). The maximum sentence Hernandez-Hernandez could receive is a fine of $250,000 and/or imprisonment for two years.

The case was investigated by deportation officers for the Department of Homeland Security, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, Enforcement and Removal Operations and is being prosecuted by Assistant U.S. Attorney Dean H. Secor of the Charleston Office.
