Goose Creek Driver Fingered in 26 Wreck with Deputy

Monday wreck led to two Goose Creek residents being hospitalized.

Law enforcement puts the blame of Monday's three-car wreck on I-26 on a Goose Creek driver, the Post and Courier reported.

Carmon Custodio, 64, and Larry Jenkis, 49, both of Goose Creek and driving separate vehicles were hospitalized following the wreck. The Post and Courier reported that as Jenkis slowed for traffic behind a Charleston County deputy, Custodio allegedly struck Jenkis, causing him to wreck into the deputy.

Law enforcement said Custodio will be charged with the incident.Β
