Hanahan Woman Charged with Felony DUI in Fatal 526 Wreck

North Charleston Police have charged a Hanahan woman with a felony DUI after she allegedly caused a fatal wreck on I-526 near Dorchester Road Sunday.

Lisa Pistolis, 24, has been arrested in the death of . Pistolis was out on bond for a DUI charge from a June 2012 incident. Her jury trial is set to begin Feb. 13. 

The Post and Courier reported:

(Pistolis) was driving eastbound on I-526 when the car she was driving drifted off the roadway into the grassy median in the center, police said. Pistolis tried to get back on the road but hit Cahuantzi’s SUV and both cars spun out of control, Pryor said in an email. Cahuantzi’s SUV also flipped several times.
