MNE Art Students Celebrate Artist Georgia O’Keefe

Fourth grade students at Marrington Elementary finished an art unit learning about the American artist Georgia O'Keeffe.  Students worked to create powerful flower compositions using balance, enlargement, and overlapping. Students then outlined their drawings with glue and colored them in with special water-soluable oil pastels. The finished pieces are creating a colorful splash displayed on school walls.
