Old Fort Fire Celebrates Promotions

Old Fort Fire Department held a promotion ceremony on Tuesday evening, January 22nd, at which time we celebrated the promotions of nine of our staff.  It is customary at our promotion ceremonies that the families attend.  The spouses or other family members participate by pinning the new badges on the promoted Officer.  We appreciate the dedication and professionalism that these gentlemen and lady have demonstrated. Congratulation to all of them for their successful service.

Old Fort Fire serves much of unincorporated Summerville and the surrounding area of Dorchester County, from Ladson to Ridgeville. 

The department has seven stations.
