Speak Out: Should Child's Drawings Alarm Authorities?

Did Walterboro Police overreact when they found a student's drawing depicting a teacher being killed? Tell us in the comments!

An 11-year-old child's stick-figure drawings created alarm last week in Walterboro when a teacher discovered them and alerted authorities.Β 

TheΒ Forest Hills Elementary School student received attention from Walterboro Police forΒ pictures allegedly depicted disturbing, murderous scenes with the student and the teacher, ABC News 4 reported. He was released to his parents and the case will be refered to Department of Juvenile Justice. No word on action from the school.Β 

There were three pictures. One showed the student holding a gun and shooting the teacher, another showed a woman stabbed and lying in a pool of blood, and the last showed the student pushing another person off a cliff.Β
