Turtles Released on Isle of Palms

The South Carolina Aquarium today released two rehabilitated loggerhead turtles on Isle of Palms.

The turtles, named Hamlin Creek and Jammer, underwent roughly a year's worth of medical treatment at the aquarium's Sea Turtle Rescue Program. Both reptiles were near death when brought to the downtown Charleston facility.

The release of these two turtles follows the release of seven turtles earlier in May.
