Alyssa Kulik Qualifies for Olympic Trials
Clemson student and Mauldin alum wins ACC Steeplechase Championship to earn nod.

Alyssa Kulik, a 2008 graduate of Mauldin High School, has qualified for the Olympic Trials.
Kulik earned the bid by winning the Women's 3000 Meter Steeplechase on Friday in Charlottesville, Va. The Clemson senior's time of 9:52 was ten seconds clear of her nearest competitor.
Her performance has Clemson at second in the team standings behind Duke.

It's just the latest accomplishment for Kulik, who was All-State for four straight years in both track and cross country while she competed for the Mavericks. Earlier this year, she was named an Academic All-American.
The Olympic Trials will be held in Eugene, Ore., during the last week of June. This year's Olympics are in London, England.
