
As part of the annual Salute to Education by Greenville County Schools, Myndert Papenhuyzen of Mauldin High School was named one of three Students of the Year.
Myndert has interests in math and computer programming, and has earned an impressive 5.562 GPA. He has chosen to study computer science at the University of South Carolina. He is the son of Myndert Jan and Marina Magdalena Papenhuyzen.
Late last month, Ben Riddle, also of MHS, was recognized as the SC PTA Student Volunteer of the Year award.
