BiI-LO Plants Pinwheels For Prevention of Child Abuse

April is Child Abuse Awareness Month.

To help commemmorate April as Child Abuse Awareness Month, BI-LO employees placed over 400 pinwheels outside the .

The garden of pinwheels represent the 12,000 cases of child abuse reported in SC last year. Pinwheels are the national symbol for child abuse prevention and by the end of April, BI-LO will have "planted" over 20,000 pinwheels throughout Greenville County. BI-LO's partner in the effort is a partner is Greenville County First Steps' Pinwheels for Prevention Campaign.
