City Could Make Major Business Announcement Tonight
Special session of council called for 5:30 p.m.
The City of Mauldin has called for a special session of council tonight at 5:30 to vote on the annexation of a property.
In recent City Council meetings city officials stated on the record that they are working with properties on N. Main Street to be brought in to the city.
However, sources with knowledge of the matter have told Patch that tonight's meeting is not related to property on Main Street.

Rather, the vote will be to annex property on Woodruff Road. One source not able to be identified due to the sensitive nature of the matter said a vote in favor of annexation tonight would be "game-changing for the City of Mauldin."
