GCSO Investigates Alleged Armed Robbery
Victim claims he was accosted, robbed by three unidentified men.
The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is looking for three unidentified men who allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint on Thursday.
The victim reported on June 27, between 1:25 pm and 1:52 pm, he went to 1008 White Horse Road (Crescent Landing Apartments), approximately four miles west of Mauldin, to visit a female he met earlier in the day at a gas station, an incident report said.
The victim reported that when he arrived at her apartment, he was approached by three male subjects, one armed with a handgun.
The victim stated he laid on the ground and was held at gunpoint by one subject, while one of the other male subjects rummaged through his vehicle. The victim reported that he had a handgun taken from him as well as a cell phone and keys.
No injury was reported.
Investigators are asking anyone with information regarding the incident to contact Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
