Gingrich Campaign to Help in Sign Clean Up Effort

South Carolina volunteers putting out new "Newt 2012" signs have been asked to pick up any Perry signs they see.

Less than an hour after Texas Gov. Rick Perry had announced that he was dropping out and throwing his support to former Speaker Newt Gingrich in the race to the White House, Gingrich's South Carolina volunteers were being asked to help pick up Perry's political signs.

In an email sent from Gingrich's Deputy Director in South Carolina, Ruth Sherlock writes:

The Newt 2012 SC team is so grateful for Governor Rick Perry's endorsement of the Speaker! This will give us the extra momentum we need to ensure that the best candidate wins on Saturday night!

So, as a kind gesture, when you are putting out our Newt 2012 signs, please take any Perry signs that you may see.  This will help with the overall clean-up effort after the Primary!

Thank you so much for all of your hard work! We are looking forward to Saturday!
