
The Greenville County Sheriff's Office is on the lookout for two men in connection with a robbery of Imperial Gold Buyers Store at 1170 Woodruff Road.
The robbery occurred at approximately 11:00 a.m. when a 911 was placed stating that an armed male was attempting to rob GEICO, which is located in the same strip mall as Imperial Gold Buyers.
Police arrived at the scene and determined that a black male suspect entered Imperial Good Buyers with a gun and demanded gold and money. After the employee gave the suspect the gold and money, the suspect ordered her to go to the bathroom in the back of the store.

While there, the suspect went through the cabinets and files of the business and then fled to the rear of the store.
During the investigation deputies learned that a second black male suspect may have been involved as a possible “lookout.”

Both men had been seen in the back of the business in and around a yellow truck which was the vehicle the armed robber fled the location driving. No one was injured during the armed robbery and the suspects have yet to be positively identified or detained.
Descriptions of the suspects are below (provided by the Greenville County Sheriff's Office):
The man who entered the store was described as a black male, 6’0” to 6’2” weighing between 170 and 190 pounds, approximately in his mid-twenties or early thirties wearing a red t-shirt with a black t-shirt underneath, dark shorts, black sneakers with a black backpack and sunglasses armed with a handgun. The suspect also had a blue triangle tattoo on his left hand between his index finger and thumb.
The lookout is described as a black male, 5’11” to 6’0” weighing between 150 and 170 pounds wearing a dark t-shirt and dark shorts with dark sneakers.
The vehicle used by the suspects is a bright yellow, late 1990’s model Nissan Frontier.
Anyone with information that might be helpful in apprehending the suspects should contact the Sheriff’s Office or Crime Stoppers at 23-CRIME.
