Shining Stars is a tutoring service like no other. Teachers are certified teachers in their fields. We tutor pre k all the way into college. We also are trained to work with kids with all disabilities. Kids with autism, ADD,ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalcula and Down’s syndrome. As part of Spirit, the school is a hosting a Zumbathon. The student council is raising money for its charity, "Building Dreams," which supports kids with parents who are in prison. Led by Zumba instructor Jennifer Edwins the school will host the event from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1. Tickets are $5. For more information, email Edwins at jedwins@mauldinrecreation.com.
