Mauldin's Puckett Picks Terriers
Midfielder Will Puckett has been a starter at Mauldin High School and lead his soccer squad to two regional championships.

Puckett signed on Wednesday afternoon to play soccer for Wofford College in Spartanburg.
"Wofford has a great soccer program and it's a place where I can get a great education," Puckett said.

Puckett, a midfielder, who led his squad to two regional championships and appearance in the Upper State Finals.

Puckett has scored 28 goals and 41 assists in his career at Mauldin. He has been named to the All-Region team twice and has earned Offensive MVP honors.
Puckett has also been a part of the CESA ’93 club team, helping the squad win six state championships, and is currently ranked No. 1 in the Under 18 National Blue League and No. 7 in the nation.
Puckett is the son of Sandy and Jack Puckett. He intends to study political science while at Wofford.
