On Saturday, a mother and daughter ordered sweet tea from the drive thru at the restaurant and realized it had not been sweetened. They returned the drinks and saw that the tea still had not been sweetened. Instead of returning to the store the customers went home intending to add their own sweetener. But when they got home and removed the tops to their drinks they saw a large deposit of phlegm floating on top of their drinks.

The victims immediately notified law enforcement and an investigation was initiated. On Wednesday morning, Greenville County Sheriff’s Office Deputies located and arrested 19-year old, Marvin D. Washington Jr. of Simpsonville without incident. Washington is currently in the Greenville County Detention Center awaiting his bond hearing scheduled for 2:30 pm on Wednesday.

CORRECTION: The address indicated on the arrest warrant is listed as 924 SE Main, but the correct address is 924 NE Main, as indicated below.
