Shining Stars is a tutoring service like no other. Teachers are certified teachers in their fields. We tutor pre k all the way into college. We also are trained to work with kids with all disabilities. Kids with autism, ADD,ADHD, oppositional defiant disorder, dyslexia, dysgraphia, dyscalcula and Down’s syndrome. We also offer social skills classes and life skills classes for teens and adults with disabilities.

A small child is protective custody after a meth lab was found at a Simpsonville home. Greenville deputies said they were called to a home at 818 Jenkins Bridge Road in Simpsonville on Sept. 9, as part of a welfare check for a one-year-old girl. Deputies determined the child had been in the home while the lab was active. The child was taken into protective custody and turned over to DSS. Deputies have charged the child's mother, Brandy Woodside, with Unlawful Neglect of a Child. Daniel Gryszel has been charged with Manufacturing Meth, Unlawful Manufacture of Meth in the Presence of a Child, and Possession of Meth. Woodside is currently in the Greenville County Detention Center on a $10,000 bond. Gryszel also is incarcerated on a $50,000 bond.
