New Gun, Sportsman Store In Mauldin
New gun shop has plans to expand into a full sportsman and outfitters store.

Gun and shooting-sports enthusiasts have a new store in Mauldin.
Mauldin Arms is up and running fulltime at 301 Murray Drive.
Owned and operated by Jeff Tomlinson and Dan Nash, Mauldin Arms is open 9 am to 6 pm weekdays, and until 5 pm on Saturdays.
The store carries handguns, but also firearms for hunters and general gun enthusiasts, and offers services such as gun cleaning and gun safety instruction, Tomlinson said.
"We're just a friendly neighborhood gun store," said Tomlinson, who said his store is a place where firearms novices and veterans can both feel welcome.
Eventually, he said, the store plans to expand into a full sportsman and outfitters store, also catering to fishermen as well. And, though city law currently prohibits it, Tomlinson told Patch he'd also like to add a firing range sometime in the future.
