From Langston Charter Middle School:

“Be a Bunny” Easter Basket Project – Langston mom Carrie Morningstar organized a Langston Easter basket drive for special needs children and adults. The United Way partnered with the Greenville County Disabilities and Special Needs Board to help those in need. Langston students donated over 60 baskets (see photos).

Langston Girls Movie Night - A Movie Night will be held for Langston girls on Friday, April 20 at 7PM at the school. Cost is $3.00 per student and all money raised goes to Relay for Life. Please contact Kelly Weekes, Director of Campus Affairs, at 864-286-9700 with any questions.

Langston Community Service Day Langston Spring Community Service Day will be Friday, April 27th. Students will not report to school that day, but will volunteer in community service all over Greenville County. All projects must be approved by the students’ leadership teacher by April 20.

Registration Open to the Public for Study Skills Workshop – Registration is now underway for Study Skills – Preparing for Middle School workshop offered to rising 6th graders. The purpose of this workshop is to give rising 6th graders the skills and confidence they need to be successful in middle school. Sessions will be held July 16 –20,  July 23 -27, and  July 30 – August 3 with morning and afternoon sessions available.  The cost is $100 plus a $25 deposit. Space is limited to 15 participants per session and sessions fill up quickly. Please contact Rob Venable at 864-286-9700 or rvenable@langstoncharter.org with any questions or to register.

Stevie B’s Spirit Night – Langston’s Spirit Night is Thursday, April 26 at Stevi B's Pizza on Woodruff Road. Stevie B’s will donate $1.00 for each person who mentions Langston.
