Police: Alleged Pot Suspect Leaves Trail of Evidence
Suspect's attempt to dump his stash goes awry.

A Mauldin man faces marijuana possession charges after he unwittingly left a trail of evidence for a Mauldin Police officer, an incident report said.
Police said they originally spotted and stopped the 21-year-old suspect after noticing that a rear light on his Jeep was working improperly, the report said.
When the officer went up to the driver's window to speak to him about the light, the officer noticed a "chunk" of marijuana sitting in plain sight on his lap, the report said.
