Preview: Tonight's City Council Meeting
A look ahead to the monthly meeting of city elected officials.

Tonight at 7 p.m. the Mauldin City Council holds its monthly meeting. Here’s a look at the key issues on the agenda.
- Ratify last week’s into the city.
- Council will review a report aimed at helping the city become more energy efficient. Among the areas where cost can be reduced are facility interior lighting of most city facilities, HVAC systems for three facilities with the oldest units, and athletic field lighting for Springfield Park and City Park.
- Council will consider appointments to the Zoning Board and Planning Commission.
- Recognize June 22, 2012 as Center for Community Services Day.
