Public Invited to Name New School

Greenville County Schools asking for suggestions for naming the new middle school to be built on the CU-ICAR campus.

The Board of Trustees of Greenville County Schools is taking suggestions from the public to name a new middle school that will open in August 2014.

The district announced early this month that it had approved the purchase of the land.

The school, to be built at the CU-ICAR Millennium campus, will house 750 students. The new school will relieve overcrowding at Beck, Bryson, Hillcrest, Mauldin and Riverside Middle Schools.
