Religion: Services to Mark Holy Week in Mauldin

Easter Sunday is just a few days away and several churches in the area have planned special services.

We have compiled a list of Maundy Thursday, Good Friday and Sunrise services that we know of this week.

March 29 — Good Friday

Emmanuel Bible Church will hold Good Friday services at 7 p.m.

Messiah Lutheran will hold a noon solemn worship. At 7 p.m., they will hold a Tenebrae service.

Mauldin United Methodist Church will hold Good Friday services at 7:30 p.m.

Grace Covenant will hold a Good Friday service at 7 p.m.

Summit will hold Good Friday services at 6 p.m.

March 31 — Easter Services, Mass

Emmanuel Bible Church will hold Easter services at 10:30 a.m.

Messiah Lutheran will hold a community sunrise service at 7 a.m. Worship services will be held at 8 a.m. An Easter egg hunt will follow at 10:15 a.m.

Mauldin United Methodist will hold Easter services at 8:45 a.m., 10:55 a.m. and 11 a.m.

New Harvest Ministries will hold a candlelight Easter service at 9:45 a.m.

Grace Covenant will hold Easter service at 10:30 a.m.

Discover will hold Easter services at 9 a.m.

Summit will hold Easter services at 9 a.m. and 11 a.m.
