You may have heard about the police action taking place today in the Mauldin Road/Parkins Mill Area. As a result of this action, a number of our schools are on lockdown and some roads are barricaded. This action may delay or hinder regular school dismissal. Should dismissal be delayed at any school, it will be announced through local media.
Bus riders who live in the barricaded area will not be delivered to their homes until law enforcement personnel have deemed it safe to do so. If, due to the barricade, you cannot arrive at school to pick up your children, they will be supervised until you are able to do so.
