Scott Wingo had one of those nights last night for the Ogden Raptors. On the one hand he struck out three times, including as the final out of the game with the tying run on second base. But he also walked, singled, stole a base, scored two runs and helped turn two double plays in the Raptors' 8-7 loss to Orem.
Such are the ups and downs of professional baseball, one of the beauties of which is that they get to try again the very next day. Tonight the Raptors take on Orem again, starting at 9 p.m. locally, 7 in Utah.
